jessie: I usually buy for each project, if it's a big commitment (10+ skeins) - but a random skein or two always finds its way home with me.
Holly: I do buy for specific projects - but I've been finding that other yarns jump into the bag and I just have to buy them and give them a good home, lol! :)
jillz: Do you mainly buy yarn for a specific pattern? Or do you buy what jumps into your basket at the LYS and then figure out what to do with it?
jillz: I like shopping in a LYS but once I have seen/fondled/used a particular yarn, I will order it online. Besides, there isn't really a LYS here in Central London :(
Holly: I love doing my shopping at my LYS... there's just something for me about that immediate gratification in shopping in person. :D
jessie: I do most of my yarn shopping online - it's easier to buy large quanities that way, and so much fun when the package comes!
